Peer-to-Peer Recognition Process

Peer-to-Peer Recognition Process

Our work environment is unique, and our talents are required to operate in a matrix and in a multidisciplinary environment.

The company employs 115 people all around the world, with headquarters in Israel and sites in the US, Europe, Taiwan, and India.
The teamwork and cooperation across teams, departments, sites, global regions, and cultures is an essential part of our ability to grow and succeed.

For that reason, we decided to add to our employee evaluation process a peer-to-peer recognition component, recognizing and thanking colleagues for their positive impact.

We invited all employees (participation was voluntary) to list two peers that contributed and influenced their work and elaborate on how that contribution influenced and promoted the work / task / project.

52% of our employees positively engaged with the new initiative and participated in the process.
While analyzing the results, we wanted to see whether employees indeed recognize peers outside their mother group, cross sites, and global regions, cross seniority, and rank.

In the feedback session, the manager shares with the employee what recognition he got from his peers by reading quotes from them.

As you can see in the chart below, the results are even more impressive considering the past year with its unique challenges and home-office operation, seeing how teamwork and mutual responsibility prevailed also in remote operation.
